What makes your authentic Tibetan incense different from regular incense?

As guardians of incense craft from Nimu Village - the birthplace of Tibetan incense in Lhasa - we preserve these sacred distinctions:

Centuries-Old Family Recipes from Its Origin

Handed down through 14 generations in Nimu Village, carrying wisdom and heritage in every flame.

Traditional Tibetan Medicine as the Healing Formulation

Enhanced with up to 80 medicinal ingredients documented in Tibetan medical texts, possessing potent healing properties rooted in ancient therapeutic traditions.

Altitude-harvested Natural Ingredients

Blended with wild herbs harvested above 12,500ft altitude, bringing the spiritual energy of ingredients into every incense. From base to binders, everything is chemical free.

Artisan Limited Editions

Each Tibetan incense stick is meticulously handmade by local villagers with patience, time, and artisanal dedication. Only limited quantities are available.

Sacred Craftsmanship with Ritualized Production

During the grinding of herbal powders, Tibetan incense artisans chant sacred mantras in silence, infusing the incense with powerful purifying energy and bestowing blessings upon every user.

How to properly burn Tibetan incense sticks?

  1. Angled Ignition: Light the end of the incense stick at a 45-degree angle with a lighter or match, and let the flame burn for approximately 7 seconds.
  2. Flame Control: Gently blow out the flame. The incense should produce a glowing red ember and a tendril of smoke, and will continue to burn on its own.
  3. Placement: Be sure to burn incense on a heatproof, non-flammable holder only. Burn incense in a well-ventilated room, away from flammable materials, and never leave incense burning unattended or in near children, pets, or a draft.

Note: If it extinguishes halfway, just re-ignite the stick and allow the flame to burn long enough to create a small flame.
